On September 27, 2016, the 2016 academic annual meeting of Chinese society of civil engineering was officially held in Beijing. The theme of the meeting is "comprehensively improving urban functions".
During this academic annual meeting, the Chinese society of civil engineering extensively collected more than 60 related papers. After the review of experts organized by the society, 38 papers with certain innovation and academic application value in theory or technology were selected and compiled into the 2016 academic theses. Among them, China Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC Hong Kong") has completed the "design and construction of the cross sea immersed tube tunnel of the Sha midline (north-south line) of the Hong Kong Metro", "research and application of the fan-shaped grouting method for the reinforcement of the existing railway subgrade under the complex environmental conditions in Hong Kong", "Research on the anti-seepage technology of the main structure of the cross sea tunnel of the Sha Tin central line in Hong Kong", and "the design and construction of the cross sea immersed tube tunnel of the Sha midline (north- Five papers, including "Discussion on the quantitative evaluation system of the whole process of green building design and construction" and "the practice of green building technology in the construction of Hong Kong's Tseung Kwan O sports venue", were successfully included and published, which fully reflected the remarkable breakthroughs made by CSCEC Hong Kong in Engineering Technology innovation in recent years, and enhanced the industry influence of CSCEC Hong Kong.
